Sociodrama, Regression and Clinical Astrology: Other Ways of Understanding Yourself

Not everything that needs to be understood can be explained. Some experiences become clearer when they are put into action, when they are revisited calmly, or when they are viewed through another language. That is the place of these three approaches at our clinic: they do not replace medical or psychological care, they complement it.

The Three Approaches

Sociodrama: learning through relationship

Sociodrama is a group methodology in which real-life situations are explored through dramatisation. It works with the roles we play, the bonds that connect us to others and the contexts in which our lives unfold — family, work, the groups we belong to. It allows you to see from the outside what you experience from within, to try out other ways of responding, and to develop relational skills that are hard to train through words alone. No previous experience or acting ability is required.

Regression: revisiting what remains unresolved

Regression work involves a guided return to significant memories and experiences, in a state of relaxation and focused attention. The aim is to give meaning and language to experiences that continue to shape how a person lives in the present. It should be said plainly: what emerges in this work is personal and symbolic material, not a verifiable historical record. Its value lies in the understanding it allows, not in establishing what happened.

Clinical astrology: a symbolic map for thinking about yourself

Clinical astrology is used here as a symbolic language of self-knowledge — a starting point for reflecting on themes, tensions and life cycles. It is not a diagnostic method, it does not predict events, and it does not guide medical decisions. For those who recognise themselves in this language, it can be a way of organising questions that would otherwise remain unformed.

A clear framework

These approaches are delivered by a practitioner with specific training and sit within a medical clinic, which means they never replace assessment, diagnosis or treatment. Where there is significant psychological distress or symptoms requiring clinical evaluation, that is what we propose first — and we say so directly.

Who it is for

For those who struggle to name what they feel but recognise it when they see it enacted; for those who repeat relational patterns without seeing where they begin; and for those seeking self-knowledge and personal development rather than treatment for an illness.

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but of courage. Understanding yourself by another route is still understanding yourself. Book your session. Some paths are better travelled in movement.
